Analytics (PostHog)

We use PostHog (EU Cloud, hosted in the European Union) to collect anonymous usage analytics. This helps us understand how the app is used and improve it.

We collect:

• App sessions and screen views

• Events: currency conversions, currency changes, feature usage (e.g. "Is this price fair?"), offline usage

• Device type, OS version, app version

We do NOT collect:

• Your name, email, or any account information

• The specific amounts you convert

• Location data

• Any personally identifiable information (PII)

PostHog is configured with host: https://eu.i.posthog.com and processes data in the EU under GDPR compliance. See PostHog Privacy Policy.

Locally Cached Data

Exchange rates are saved on your device using AsyncStorage for offline functionality. This data never leaves your device and is not shared with us or any third party.

4. Your Rights (GDPR)

ConvertBuddy does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ on the App Store.

We may update this policy. Significant changes will be communicated through the App Store update notes.
